Summer Break

Happy Faces 

Smiling Braces

and ice cream pie,

all of which are more than me!!!

Sun pops out

and fun begins

sweets for every mouth

All trembling on my skin!

No more school

Let's go to the pool!

Where we have so much fun

and yet it's all out in the sun!!!

Leaves start to fall

this summer was a blast!!!

But I stand tall,

For now I'll sail away on a mast!!!

                                   

The Trash Mess By my sister

Once there was a girl named Anna.She would never throw her trash away. Anna would just throw it on the floor,road,and shop floor.One day Anna was about to open the door when she smelled something bad. That's when she noticed outside the whole world was covered with trash.Anna noticed it was her trash.But she did not care.Anna just walked to the living room and turned on the news. Anna was surprised when  she heard that everyone knew she did put trash all over.So Anna said,"I wish that this never happened.Suddenly a wizard appeared and said that  if she did not clean up she will go to jail.Anna opened the door and got all the trash bags and started cleaning up.When Anna was finished she learned to never throw trash on the world.




Moral of the story- Never litter

How Spinach Gained Their Independence!

  All spinach leaves know that in one point of time,they will be eaten. All except Mary.She thought it was cruel and unfair. When she was a seven week old child, she tried to send a letter to Farmer Kate saying that she shouldn't eat them. Too bad she couldn't hold the pencil.

    One day, Farmer Kate plucked Mary and her mother, who also thought that eating spinach was rude. Then, Kate put the two in a bowl and went to get some potatoes. Meanwhile, Kate and her mother sneaked gratefully past Tom the grumpy cat and ........ The Big Potato! ( his a REAL meanie!).

But,soon Kate figured out her spinach was missing, so she went out to her garden to get more spinach. 

  But instead of seeing a nice patch of green, she saw an angry mob of spinach running away!!!

          They were holding signs that read -

"No more Yum Yum for us!"

Now you might think that they became friends and yadda yadda, but instead they had a war. It was known as the Veggie War. And it may seem impossible, but the spinach won!  Kids celebrate this day by eating NO vegetables for the whole day! Now that is what I call a holiday.

Random Thoughts!!

You know what I think? I think that candy is REALLY good. I mean, I understand how it is unhealthy and all that. But then, why did they even invent or try to make candy? It is kind of confusing. Well, I guess a little treat is great once in a while!

  Anyway, what is with all this green packages? All they basically do is tell those guys that it is nature, safe and boom!  You have got so many people out there willing to recycle all these plastic stuff that they probably didn't even pay ATTENTION to before. When they first hear about this green thing, they pick up their bags to see the garbage place all full of people who want to recycle the trash. Well, It is a good way to get them motivate because it isn't  a typical thing to see a bunch of  guys in a line, waiting for their wives to hurry up and recycle all the junk that they thought was ridiculous to keep. I suppose that I should start doing it too.  Talking about, recycling, those guys really have to pay nature some RESPECT!!! I mean, they just go out there all cool ( I am cool NOT them) and chop down those trees like a baby that licks a apple with the mushy part out! I think they are acting way too professional because I am , not THEM! Really?!?

The Portal

I am Chloe and right now I am about to be swallowed up by a giant fire-breathing dragon!!
May be .....I should, tell you how it started. It was just me & my puppy, Pumpkin  sitting on the couch, watching ridiculous baby shows. My little sister, Amy, has been watching "Dora the Explorer" for almost the billionth time. And if you ask, I DO NOT like it. I only watch it because Amy won't let anyone turn the T.V off. Anyway, I felt hungry and went to get a juicy, nice, apple from the kitchen. But, when I went in, my mom wasn't there! I checked in all the rooms in the house, but still I couldn't find her! I went back downstairs to ask Amy about it. When I went to the living room, she wasn't there either! Suddenly I felt  my heart race like lightning!!

         I ran into my room and hid in the closet (a special spy technique:)). But, then I went through this crazy portal! when I could finally see, I got to this dark strange land. The sky was red, and people all around were crying! The grass was black with all flowers dead. But the most scary thing was the dragon that burned down all those houses! So, then the dragon swooped over, and grabbed me into a little cage! Surprisingly, I had a sword strapped around me(long story).
     
              I realized that the only way I am going to survive is to fight against the dragon. I drew out my sword, and broke out of the cage. I struck the dragon with my sword many times until the dragon got weak and died. The dragon disappeared and was replaced with a key. A locked portal was there right in front of me! I put in the key and I went dizzy again. When I woke up, I was back home. But this time, I heard Amy and my mom talking:)

A Minecraft Story (Only For Minecraft Players)

All Minecraft people have a reason to live. Some want to explore the wild and some just want to have fun building. Others, like me, want to just survive in this harsh land.And at the same time,some people just like to be Griefers and steal from others.I wasn't a Griefer. I was actually kind of weird. I was the only one who hated cakes and melons.Plus when I was a young villager, I used to have the habit of burying useless things underground. All this had changed when I grew up to a GHAST!

I understood why Ghasts cry and all the difficulties they faced. I really felt sad for them. But there was one tale that hit me the most---

              Once there was a baby Ghast not smaller than a tear. His name was Light. Light didn't want to be a ghast,who shots fire at poor explorers. He actually wanted to be an EXPLORER! One day, when he was targeting balls (fire ), he saw a villager. He didn't want to hurt him. So he stayed still. The villager had an evil sneer on his face. He shot lots of arrows at Light, hurting him every time. But Light didn't fire him back and he just stared at the villager.  Eventually, Light died and the villager earned Lights' tear!! "Its better to stay calm, than fight against people"were Lights' last words!!

I followed Lights' footsteps and eventually got killed.

Moral? -- Never believe a ghast story:)

The Magic Pencil

My name is Kate and I am having a lot of homework. I'm in Ms. Jones's class. Ms. Jones is nice and all, but she gives us A LOT of homework. So, I'm probably doomed now.  My mom won't stop talking about school and homework. I stared at the work that Ms. Jones had given me today . It was spiraled with confusing numbers and large words. The only reason why I had to do this is because last night's homework I did was NOT good enough for my teacher.  

Sara, my big sister, or should I call Little Miss Perfect is probably playing with her little dolls right now. The first question was a tough one. It asked me to identify the subordinating conjunction. Well, I didn't even know what a NOUN was. I got really mad so I decided to get Mom's help. As I went into the kitchen, My mom 's loud voice sprang in the air. " Go back to your room and do your homework!" She yelled. " But I don't understand this one question!" I cried. " Well,  then go tell your teacher, not me.". And then she was off. I grumped up to my room. But, to my surprise, my chewed pencil had been writing down all the answers like crazy! He also had a note. It read-

I have done all your homework! By the way, my name is Ted, the pencil. You can use me when ever you need lots of help!:)

At first, I wanted to throw Ted away, but then, I wanted to USE Ted with my homework! I used all my might to give the wonderfully done homework to Ms. Jones. " Wow!" she exclaimed. " you surely have been working hard!". So, I was really surprised. Then onward, I used the pencil to do all my homework . Plus, I even got the Good work Award!

 But, then there was a test. I nervously took it carefully. " I am sorry to say this but, You have failed the test" Ms. Jones had replied. Then, I realized that I should have done my home work by my self than cheating!!

Santa, The Lady bug & the Bear

Once there was a ladybug with full of dreams & delights! She would always share and care about others. She often would share some food with butterflies and grass hoppers.But there was a grouchy little Bear, who was mad and droves all the insects crazy! He had no manners( he always burps at the table), kindness and he wouldn't even share his honey with bees.

         One day, Ladybug heard a tale about Santa from a butterfly. After that, she was hooded up by many wishes to go to the North Pole! On Christmas day every bugs were in laughter (especially lady bug). The bear grumped and snored while others were laughing and playing. Lady bug felt sad for bear. Ladybug was thinking about Santa the whole night. Suddenly, Santa appeared in front of Ladybug! 

        

     The Santa and lady bug decided to make bear happy. Santaand lady bug went over to bears house and gave him gifts and played with him.The next morning bear was very happy. He sang with birds and played with bees and even shared honey with bees! Afterwards, Bear was nice and sharing and caring as lady bug!

New Life

I looked at the large building and sighed, " I'm not so sure about this". It was Lucy's first day of her new boarding school. My old school was definitely not THIS big! Just as I was excited, I was also a lot nervous. As I entered, I felt a cozy warmth touch!  Plus, I smelled cupcakes from another room! After I chose my classes, put my stuff in my lockers, and looked at a map, I looked around. The room really did look comfy and nice, like the add on the magazines I read. As I wandered around, I stumped across a girl!( So embarrassed!)" OUCH!" she cried. "I'm so sorry, I'm new here" I replied. Then suddenly, like a bolt of lightning, she looked up and dragged me to a room. Then she asked a lot of questions like what my name is and all that stuff. She also showed me school rules and policies. It was almost lunch, so we both hurried quickly to the lunch room. The names of the food were VERY weird, as I only chose three things- mocha's, silos, and a few putinas. After we ate we came up to our shared room. The room looked beautiful with a few couches in the middle with some kind of fire place. There were also two bunk beds on both sides. I looked at the beautiful view outside the room. I am definitely going to have a good life here!!!

The Magic Rings

When you see a house, it usually has lots of nice things in it like flowers, paintings, and cozy furniture. But when me & Lily went down the block, there was this one house that didn't look right at all! In fact, it didn't look like a house at all! It looked more like a creepy castle!

  " What is this place?" a shivering Lily asked. All the windows were rusted, walls are all murky and black with all the flowers wilted. " I don't think we should go in there," I suggested. But she didn't listen. She went through the broken window. ( It barely even stood up!)

               I was really getting scared now. " Hey Tally! Come over here!" she called out. I hesitated but soon gave in. When we both were in the house, There was a large creak at a room. We were frightened as we entered the creepy room.


          There in the smack dab middle of the room was a plat form. It read-
" A fortune to be revealed, but aware that Greediness can lead to danger" " Should we put the rings on?" a confused Lily asked. As soon as we put on the rings, there was suddenly a large stack of candy standing in front of us. We ate and ate until our tummies hurt! Suddenly I noticed that both of us were being very greedy! Then we landed at my back yard with the rings all gone. We got really mad and realized a very important lesson.

Life as a Baby

 I was having a great life. It was a long life. Every morning, I would have a bottle of milk and some of this creamy, but plain baby food. Next, some person named "Mommy" picks me up like a puppy. It feels soft and cuddly. I enjoy it a lot. After, this other guy called "Daddy" comes up and rattles this thing at me. I really don't know what it is for, and I do NOT want to know. Soon a giant hand sticks this thing in my mouth. I LOVE it's squishy, chewy feeling! My favorite person is called Scruff . Well, I suppose that it isn't a person, just a creature. 
            I sometimes hear my big sister, Mary, call Scruff a dog yesterday, and I hope that wasn't a bad thing. Anyway, next I like to crawl into Mary's room and sneak a bit of pink eyeshadow and lip gloss. It is SUPER shiny!!!!  Mary will then call "MOM!!!" and I will go to my room and play with a toy cat. ( I do NOT like kittens, It's just that I couldn't see Scruff anywhere) Usually I would then come up to Daddy and say, " I want make wup" but he never listens. Then after another meal, I would play catch with Scruff. But we play it MY way. He would throw the ball and I would have to catch it. It's more sophisticated that way. I also give him a treat once in a while.( I've tried eating it but I ended up by throwing up)  After a long dinner, Mommy puts me in a cage thing and stares and staresat me. I don't know why she does that though. But I usually get tired and go to sleep. But then 5 min later, she's gone! "ARE WE PLAYING A GAME?!?".
